i am developing my debut feature. it’s about class + environmentalism in the american south. a comedy!

some stuff:

movies: my first short Ruby premiered last year. my newer project, experimental personal doc kid with a pearl earring is currently in its festival run. I produce as well.
the films I have written+directed have played with New/Next, Florida Film Festival, RiverRun, FilmFort, Defy, Brooklyn Film Festival, Sydney Underground, Mimesis, NFFTY and Motivate Underground. films I have produced have played at Montclair Film Festival, FilmQuest, Brooklyn Horror Film Festival, Roxy Cinema, Mama Farms, among others.

theatre: an alum of UNCSA's drama directing program + a former Peter F. Sloss fellow at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, I have worked with MCC, Signature Theatre, TheatreWorks USA, NAMT, 24 Hour Plays: Broadway + Nationals, and the North Carolina Symphony. I recently travelled to Italy to develop my next project at La MaMa’s international writer’s retreat, with full financial support from Kenan Institute!

last fall, a workshop of PARK PLAY, a new play created by me + Ally Merkel + Kate Pittard ran in Brooklyn. it’s about walking/birding/listening… i hear it’ll be back in time for spring migration. chirp chirp
